SHERATON GRAND JAKARTA GANDARIA CITY
On Wednesday the 9th of August, team JAGO had the honor to visit the Sheraton Grand, part of the Marriott family, in the city center of Jakarta. The IN2FOOD
project 2023 challenged us to dive deeper into the food waste management of the hotel, by doing observations behind the scenes and interviewing staff.

RITZ CARLTON PACIFIC PLACE JAKARTA
The Ritz Carlton PP has started to donate the leftover food to SOS food prevention, however many more steps need to be taken in the food preventing process. The biggest department is Banqueting, however it is difficult for the company to re-use food after it is used on a buffet or for banqueting events.

LE MEREDIEN JAKARTA
The Hotel Industry has taken the role as an industry that contributing on wasting their food. According to fourth website ,The most recent study reveals that annually, the hotel sector generates 289,000 tons of solid waste, which comprises 9% of the industry's total, including 79,000 tons of food waste.
