The goal of the project: " Doggy bag(ck) to the future" is to minimize food waste by normalizing and promoting the doggy bag. Furthermore, this project aims to raise awareness and educate about the impact of food waste. The team went to different restaurant in Amsterdam to explain the core of this project and to share their research that investigated how doggy bags can prevent food waste. According to their findings, 50% of the participants in the survey are ashamed to ask for a doggy bag, even though they would actually want one.
