Talk of Town

Due to causes such as habitat loss, availability, and diversity of forage, there has been a sharp decline in

bee populations all over the world and 25% fewer species were reported between 2006 and 2015. These declining statistics are worrisome as it could impact many ecosystem services. Those being plant pollination for hundreds of thousands of wild plant species, and the yield of around 85% of all cultivated crops. The human population is not the only driver, but the most influential regarding the decline. Urgent attention is needed to counter further damage. Therefore, this team's project tackles the bee decline, the team's project, the related UNSDG's, seed bombs, and the concept of Guerilla Gardening.
