Anna de Visser - Amundson

Anna de Visser-Amundson is a Senior Research Fellow at Hotelschool The Hague (HTH) and a PhD Candidate at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in The Netherlands. As a researcher, she works very closely with practice and industry. Her projects have contributed to taking the lead role in nationwide sustainability campaigns such as the Food Waste Challenge in 2020 and the IN2FOOD Erasmus + consortium. Her expertise and research focus on the marketing of ‘rescued-based’ food as a scalable solution to the food waste problem and the use of influence strategies to reduce food waste in hospitality organisations. Anna’s work has been published in Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of Cleaner Production, Journal of Food Quality and Preference, and Journal of Sustainable Tourism.
