Naurissa Biasini

Assistant Professor, Universitas Pembangunan Jaya

Entering the world of education since being trusted as a Lecturer Assistant at STIKOM-LSPR Jakarta for about a year made this woman who is usually called Bias, fall in love with the learning and teaching process. Bias was trusted to accompany three lecturers for different subjects, namely Media Relations, Media Production Workshop, and Investigative Reporting. During her undergraduate education, she was also an active member of the London School Radio until she was trusted to run broadcast programs on Prambors Radio and RRI. During that time, Bias actively studied Japanese until she was selected as a participant in the JENESYS 2.0 student exchange program. Graduated from the Bachelor program, Bias continued her career in the communications industry as a Social Media Specialist to Business Development Manager at a non-formal educational institution in Jakarta. Apart from that, she also works as a non-permanent lecturer at one of the Diploma 3 educational academies of the Communication Science Study Program while continuing her education in the Master of Communication Science program until 2017. After graduating from the Master program, she decided to focus on himself as a lecturer at the Pembangunan Jaya University Communication Studies Program. As a lecturer, Bias focuses on mass media studies, especially on feminist studies in mass media. Bias teaches communication science courses and practicum courses related to journalism. Some of her research related to feminism in the media has been published in national journals. Bias also pays attention to environmental problems which he does through community service activities.
